Gerry Sexton - Managing Director

Following a successful career in financial services that included roles as an award-winning Life Adviser at Barclays and a Partner with St. James’s Wealth Management, Gerry Sexton launched Sexton Financial Services in 2006 to deliver expert financial advice to clients locally across Herts, Beds, Bucks and Nationally across the whole UK.

Sam Johnston - Practice Manager

Sam joined Sexton Financial Services in March 2021, after working for many years with a major Cash in Transit Company in Account Management and then as Head of Service Management Operations.

Sam’s background is over 25 years in Account Management and Customer Service Management. She has always had a strong focus on the Customer and their needs.

Sam spends her spare time, gardening cooking, walking, and enjoying the odd glass of Wine! She has her dog, Honey that she absolutely adores.

Kirstie Beasley - Administrator

Kirstie joined Sexton Financial Services in November 2017. This was her returning to work after taking time out to raise her daughter. Prior to taking time out Kirstie worked in Financial Services for many years, as a Pensions Specialist Administrator, at Halifax/Lloyds Banking Group.

Kirstie enjoys her family time with her husband and daughter. Kirstie likes to read a good book to wind down, she also loves to holiday down in the West Country and to visit family in Somerset, Cornwall and Devon too.

Joe Ball

Joe joined Sexton Financial Services in August 2025 as he begins his career in finance. He recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Industrial Economics. Outside of work, Joe enjoys football, travelling, walks with his dog Lola and playing the piano.

Local dementia café celebrates success with annual summer picnic

Local dementia café Young@Heart Café was delighted to hold its annual summer picnic, celebrating the wonderful contribution that the café has made to older people in the area, even welcoming Luton Town Football Club Manager Mick Harford, who congratulated the charity on its outstanding achievements. The owner of Home Instead Luton, Maria Collins, as the founder of Young@Heart, encouraged the Café’s volunteers, clients, and their families to attend the event.

For 6 years, Home Instead has worked in partnership with the Parish of Holy Family & St John to provide the Café which is a support network within the community for those living with dementia, their family, and carers. The weekly meet ups at the café gets everyone together to listen to music, take part in ‘chatterbox’ sessions. It encourages older people to stay connected with others in the community.

Maria added: “Young@Heart just seems to go from strength to strength, and this picnic was about celebrating that, particularly after a prolonged period when we couldn’t get together due to the pandemic. Thank you to the dozens of attendees who showed their support; it was great seeing so many smiles! Thanks also to the 20 fantastic volunteers and sponsorship from Sexton Financial Services Ltd whose Director, Gerry Sexton made it happen.

Gerry and the team at Sexton Financial Services have been absolutely fantastic! We have just remortgaged which can be very stressful as a self employed couple but everyone in Gerry’s team has been professional, friendly and very efficient. We were shocked how quickly the team work. Gerry is very knowledgeable and it’s obvious he really cares about his clients. He was always happy to personally take our calls and answer any questions we had.

Mortgages

For our mortgage advice services we will charge a fee of £399.
If you make any amendments once you have received your offer, we will charge an additional £25 to cover our administration costs.
For our buy- to- let mortgage advice services for an individual we will charge a fee of £399 & £450 for a Limited Company.

Mortgage Product Transfer

For our mortgage product transfer advice services we will charge a fee of £90.00

Mortgage advice – payment due at the time of the formal offer
